Evaluation Day for our Spring 2023 Los Gatos Little League Season is THIS Saturday, January 21st  2023 rain or shine! Every player in AA, AAA, Majors, Intermediate and Juniors is expected to attend.

Check your players bib number and evaluation time. Please show up 15 minutes prior to your start time for check-in. 

LOCATION: Evaluation Day is held at Los Gatos High School Baseball Field (Campus Map) The high school baseball field is just behind the high school parking lot, which is located where Pleasant Street intersects New York Avenue.  Make a left at that intersection and you will see signs directing you towards the baseball field and evaluation  day registration. 

SNACK SHACK: There will be snacks and drinks available for purchase at Evaluation Day. Cashless payments only (credit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo, etc). 

WEATHER - The plan is to move forward with the evaluations rain or shine... so dress warm, and dry.

PARKING - This year we are able to use the Los Gatos High School parking lot, which is just in front of the baseball field where evaluations will take place.  If you take Pleasant street until it intersects New York Ave, you will take a left and be in the high school parking lot and see signs directing you to the LGLL evaluation day event.

TIMING: You should have received a separate email noting your players 90 minute evaluation time window between 8am and 2:30pm. Please reach out to Player Agent Russ Laubach via email if you have not yet received this info. Your child should be at the Los Gatos High School baseball field 15 minutes before their scheduled time in order to check in and get assigned a BIB#. The scheduled evaluation for each group is estimated to take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete the circuit from registration to final swing of the bat.  Please note that these times may be delayed if there are any timing challenges, but your child will need to be at the field to check in 15 minutes before their allotted time. 

EQUIPMENT: Please make sure your player is dressed with the appropriate attire to play baseball and brings their glove, helmet and bat.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM: Please make sure to print and bring your completed medical release form. Your player WILL NOT be allowed to participate in evaluations without a completed form. 

PRE-EVALUATION DAY CLINICS Jan 19 & 20 5:00-6:00PM at Los Gatos High School

Players are invited to come to Los Gatos High School Baseball fields on Thursday January 19th and/or Friday January 20th from 5-6pm to get a walk through of the stations they will go through on Evaluation Day. These clinics are completely voluntary, but a good chance to get some reps, knock some rust/nerves off and prepare for Saturday.
